Delhi weather forecast: February gets warmer as maximum temperature may rise to 30 degrees C

New Delhi: February days are getting warmer in Delhi as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast maximum temperatures to range between 28 degrees C and 30 degrees C. The minimum temperature is likely to settle between 12 degrees C and 14 degrees C.

The weather department has forecast a mainly clear sky, with mist during the morning hours. Light winds are expected in the early part of the day. Between 5:30 am and 11:30 am, winds will blow from the west at 5–10 kmph. During the afternoon (11:30 am to 5:30 pm), northwesterly winds are likely to strengthen slightly to 10–15 kmph. In the evening hours (5:30 pm to 11:30 pm), southerly winds at 0–5 kmph are expected.

Delhi AQI today

Air quality in the national capital remained in the ‘moderate’ category on Friday morning. Delhi’s AQI was recorded at 197 at 6 am.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), AQI categories are classified as Good (0–50), Satisfactory (51–100), Moderate (101–200), Poor (201–300), Very Poor (301–400) and Severe (401–500).
