In Thiruvalla, Kerala, a 17-year-old class 12 student committed suicide by hanging herself after a breakup with her boyfriend. The police have taken the 21-year-old boyfriend into custody and started investigation. Postmortem report is awaited.

Thiruvalla: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Thiruvalla of Pathanamthitta district of Kerala. Here a class 12 student was found hanging inside her house. The deceased girl has been identified as 17-year-old Aparna Ramesh, who was a resident of Peringolil. It is being told that after giving the model exam, the girl told her boyfriend on the phone that she was going to commit suicide and then hanged herself. Boyfriend Jawad had broken up with her, due to which Aparna was very sad. The body of 17 year old Aparna was found in the kitchen of the house.

According to the information, when Aparna came out after giving her 12th model exam, her 21 year old boyfriend Jawad came to meet her. Jawad told Aparna that he was ending the relationship. There was an argument between the two on this matter on the road itself. In anger, Aparna also broke the mobile phone which Jawad had bought and given to her. After this she ran towards her house crying.

While running home, she told Jawad on the phone that she was going to commit suicide. At that time only his grandmother was at home. As soon as Aparna reached home, she went straight to the kitchen and hanged herself with a shawl.

Jawad ran to her house and cut the shawl, took the girl down and ran towards the hospital. The neighbors also came to know about this incident only then. On reaching the hospital, doctors declared Aparna dead. After this, the police took Jawad, a resident of Vaypur, into custody. Tiruvalla Police has said that after the postmortem report comes, consideration will be given to adding serious sections in the case.
