KL Rahul: In the first semi-final of Ranji Trophy, KL Rahul missed a century in the second innings against Uttarakhand. KL Rahul would have scored a century but his friend and birthday boy Prasidh Krishna was out without opening the account. As soon as Krishna was out, KL Rahul remained unbeaten on 86 runs and Karnataka’s second innings was reduced to 323 runs. Even though KL could not score a century, this player batted brilliantly at number six. He hit 5 sixes and 5 fours in his innings.

KL Rahul had scored a brilliant century in the first innings. This player had played an innings of 141 runs. The interesting thing is that Rahul came to open in the first innings and he played an important role in taking Karnataka to 736 runs by hitting 5 sixes and 11 fours. Apart from Rahul, Karnataka captain Devdutt Padikkal also batted brilliantly and scored a double century. He scored 232 runs in 330 balls. However, he could not bat in the second innings due to injury.

KL Rahul’s performance in Ranji Trophy
KL Rahul has played three matches in Ranji Trophy and he has performed amazingly in all three matches. This player had played an innings of 59 runs against Punjab. After this, in the quarter-finals, he scored a brilliant 130 runs in the second innings against Mumbai. This player also contributed 141 and 86 runs against Uttarakhand. Rahul scored a total of 227 runs in this match. KL Rahul was not selected in the T20 World Cup but this player is now preparing well for the IPL by performing brilliantly in the Ranji Trophy.
