Last Sunday, Miss Universe Fatima Bosch suddenly fell unconscious during the ‘Fruit and Flower Festival’ held in Ambato, Ecuador. She was standing on top of a vehicle decorated with flowers and waving to the crowd, when suddenly she fell down on her knees. The video of this incident has gone viral on social media.
It can be seen in the video that Fatima, wearing a beautiful mint-green gown, is standing on the parade vehicle. When she suddenly loses her balance, she tries to hold on to the back railing, but feels weak and falls there. Seeing this, the people present there got scared and started screaming. Soon after, the organizers boarded the vehicle and helped Fatima.
On this matter, Miss Universe Organization’s communication head Miguel Angel Martínez said, ‘Fatima had felt a little dizzy due to being in the hot sun for hours. He was immediately given medical help and now he is completely fine. He also said that as a precaution, Fatima has been asked to take rest and she is now visiting different countries as part of her official world tour.
Fatima Bosch represented Mexico at the Miss Universe crown in Bangkok on November 21. However, she remained in the news since the beginning of the competition. She was publicly criticized by Nawat Itsaragrisil, one of the contest organisers, for refusing to take part in a promotional photoshoot in Thailand.

However, Fatima rejected these allegations and said that she would not do anything against her values. Other contestants also supported Fatima in this controversy. When asked if she would give up her crown, Fatima replied, ‘I will never give up this crown, my aim is to serve others.’
