Its captain Sikandar Raza played the biggest role in helping Zimbabwe cross the threshold of victory. Apart from that, opener Brian Bennett also scored a brilliant half-century. Brian Bennett scored 63 runs on 48 balls. Whereas Sikandar Raza scored 45 runs in just 26 balls at a strike rate of more than 173. His innings included 2 fours and 4 sixes.

Earlier, playing first, Sri Lanka scored 178 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. Pathum Nissanka was the most successful batsman for Sri Lanka, who scored 62 runs in 41 balls. Apart from him, Pawan Ratnayake played an inning of 44 runs.
