Here a man made private videos of his own wife for dowry and then made them viral on social media. The accused shared videos of his wife taking bath in WhatsApp groups and threatened to make more videos viral if the remaining dowry money was not paid.
Shameful: Husband made private video of wife
The name of the accused is Shivam Sahu. She was married on May 10, 2025. After marriage, he started harassing his wife for dowry. During this time, he secretly made many private videos of his wife in the bedroom. The limit was reached when he even recorded the video of his wife while she was bathing. Shivam started blackmailing his wife on the basis of these videos. He was continuously demanding the remaining dowry money and threatened to make the video viral if the money was not given. The wife thought that her husband would not do such a shameful act and she continued to bear everything silently.

But on February 12, the accused husband posted these videos on some WhatsApp groups and social media. Within minutes these videos went viral and even reached family groups. When the woman’s close ones sent her the same video and asked her what all this was about, she realized the cruelty of her husband.
Wife lodged complaint
As soon as the video went viral, the wife lodged a complaint with the police. In her complaint, she told the entire story of her husband’s torture, making videos and making them viral. The woman’s parents also told the police that Shivam had demanded dowry of Rs 3 lakh at the time of marriage. He somehow arranged for Rs 2 lakh and gave it, but he was continuously harassing his daughter for the remaining Rs 1 lakh.
As soon as the complaint was filed, Shivam Sahu fled to Mumbai. When he ran out of money, he went straight from Mumbai to his wife’s maternal home. There he showed a knife and threatened his in-laws to give the remaining money. The family immediately informed the police and kept him busy by pretending to arrange money. Within some time the police reached the spot and arrested Shivam Sahu.
