Rikta Tithi (Why is it considered inauspicious?): Chaturthi, Navami and Chaturdashi tithi of Krishna and Shukla Paksha of every month is called Rikta. These dates are considered inauspicious. Completion Date: Panchami, Dashami, Purnima, Amavasya are called Purna Tithi. In this, auspicious and auspicious works can be done on all other dates except Amavasya.
