Kapil Sharma and wife Ginni Chatrath have recently launched a new cafe named The Kaps Cafe in Surrey, Canada. The couple posted some thrilling peeks into their cafe’s soft opening on social media, revealing how full it was.
Kapil, who hosts The Great Indian Kapil Show, appears to be performing well in the hospitality industry as well.
The Kaps Cafe is not only about amazing coffee; it also offers scrumptious desserts such as lemon pistachio cake, fudgy brownies, and croissants. The interior of the cafe is quite chic, with a pink and white theme, crystal chandeliers, faux flowers, and cozy baby pink sofas.
The café’s Instagram account posted a video of visitors jamming inside on the day of the soft launch, writing, “We are very grateful for the amazing crowd! Sorry for the wait, we are trying hard to seat everyone!” Kapil and Ginni also posted some congratulatory posts and pictures on their Instagram stories, thanking everyone for their support.
Comedian Kiku Sharda, who regularly works with Kapil on The Great Indian Kapil Show, greeted the couple with a heartfelt and simple “Kya baat hai!” Kapil’s show is in its third season with guests such as Salman Khan, Gautam Gambhir, and Rishabh Pant. With Archana Puran Singh and Navjot Singh Siddhu added to the show, it is looking like another side-splitting season.
Kapil’s not only restricting himself to TV, however. He’s also developing a few new movies, such as Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 and Dadi Ki Shaadi. The Kaps Cafe also appears to be another new thrilling project for the comedian and his wife, who got married in 2018 and have two children, daughter Anayra and son Trishaan.
