When police officers arrived, they found the woman sitting inside with an ax in her hand. His clothes were stained with blood. The officers immediately took him into custody. On Tuesday he was produced in Karad court. The court sent him to police custody for three days. Sub-Inspector Krishna Disale is leading the investigation.
Statement of the accused to the police
During initial interrogation, Vandana told the police that Raja was repeatedly pressurizing her to meet her and due to suspicion, he used to beat her. She claimed that he broke into her house at midnight and attacked her and her daughter.
