Do not make these mistakes on Phulera Dooj
- According to scriptures and beliefs, do not wear black colored clothes on the day of Phulera Dooj.
- Do not speak harsh words or abusive language to anyone on this day.
- Do not argue at home or outside. Do not insult women, elderly and helpless people.
- On this day, do not consume Tamasic things like meat, alcohol, onion, garlic etc.
- Do not tell lies even by mistake on this day.
It is auspicious to do this work on Phulera Dooj
Take bath with pure water early in the morning on the day of Phulera Dooj. Then offer water to the rising sun. In the auspicious time, adorn Radha-Krishna and worship them. Offer them flowers.
