The daughter of the woman living in Boisar called her mother several times, but got no response. She became worried and asked her brother who lived nearby to go to the house and check. When he reached home, he found the main door locked. No response was received even after knocking. He peeked through the window and saw his mother’s feet soaked in blood. Shocked, he immediately informed the police.
Police teams reached the spot and found the house locked from inside. About three hours later, officers removed the slab from the bathroom window and entered. Inside, they found signs that the doors had been deliberately locked from the inside. One door was jammed with a screwdriver. Investigators also found that both the victim’s mobile phones were broken so that no one could contact them.
Soon suspicion fell on the nephew living in the house. Police said he seemed nervous, covering his face and repeatedly looking towards the room where the body was hidden. During interrogation he confessed to his crime. He told the police that his friend had helped him in hiding the body. The police have taken both the minors into custody in this case. Investigation is ongoing.
