T20 World Cup 2026: Zimbabwe team has created history in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. Despite being an associate nation, they have made it to the Super-8 stage of this tournament for the first time. The biggest reason for Zimbabwe’s great success in Group B is a tall fast bowler. Actually, Blessing Muzarabani has been the star in both these victories of Zimbabwe. He took 3 wickets against Oman, while against Australia he did a career-best feat of taking 4 wickets for 17 runs. In a total of two matches, he has given runs at an economy rate of only 4.11 and has taken 7 wickets. His economy was the best among bowlers who played more than one match in this edition of the tournament. It is very challenging for any bowler to spend runs at an economy of 6 or below, but Muzarabani has made it easy.

Muzarabani’s precise line-length, height advantage and control on slow pitches have made him one of the best bowlers of the tournament. Currently, he is among the top-5 bowlers taking the most wickets. The remaining 4 bowlers in this list have played 3 or more matches. In such a situation, Blessing Muzarabani still has a chance to be at the forefront in this list. The team has to play its last group match against Sri Lanka. After this, it will compete with strong teams like West Indies, India and South Africa in Super-8.
