Kumaraswamy Kamaraj was born on July 15, 1903 in a simple and poor family in a backward area of ​​Tamil Nadu. His schooling lasted only six years. Kamaraj was elected unopposed to the Madras Legislative Assembly in 1937. He was elected to it again in 1946.
