New Delhi. Jio introduced its ‘Jio Aarogya AI’ model at the India AI Impact Summit. The aim of this AI-based clinic system showcased in the Jio Pavilion is to make primary healthcare fast, accessible and affordable. The company says that this technology can transform the primary health centers of the country into AI-enabled clinics, which will enable better treatment even in remote areas.

This AI-powered system screens and analyzes the patient’s vital health parameters in a matter of minutes. Through this, possible health risks are identified and if necessary, referral to a specialist doctor is advised. According to the company, its objective is to speed up the treatment process by identifying the disease at an early stage.
Smart mirror and voice AI doctor feature
In this system, the patient stands in front of an AI-enabled diagnostic device, which is called a “smart mirror”. This device takes important health readings based on eyes, skin and other visual signals. AI analyzes this data and prepares an initial health assessment. Patients can tell their problems by speaking to the ‘Voice AI Doctor’. The system can also ask further questions if necessary. Its special thing is that it can communicate in many major Indian languages, making it easy to use for people from different states.
Priority for categories of patients and emergency cases
‘Jio Aarogya AI’ can divide patients into different categories according to their condition. Cases that require immediate medical attention are given priority. This is expected to reduce the burden of daily cases on doctors, so that they can pay more attention to serious patients. The company has clarified that the AI system only gives an initial assessment. No medicine or treatment is given to any patient without doctor’s advice.
