In Chhattisgarh Kharsia, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth Rs 66.84 crore including railway overbridge. The introduction of Atal Digital Services Centers, road, sports complex and other schemes were also inaugurated.
The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth Rs 66.84 crore including railway overbridge in a program organized in Kharsia in Raigad district. On this occasion, he also announced development works worth more than Rs 20 crore in Kharsia. In the program, the statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee was unveiled and the Atal campus was also inaugurated.
New development works launched in Kharsia
The Chief Minister announced Rs 10 crore for construction of bypass road from Kabir Chowk in Kharsia, Rs 10 crore for repairing other facilities including sports complex and swimming pool, and Rs 8 crore for other development works in Kharsia municipality area. Along with this, a technical survey was also announced for the construction of railway underbridge.

A statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee unveiled
The Chief Minister unveiled the statue of former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee and inaugurated the Atal campus. He said that the foundation of the future can be strengthened only through strong farmers, women and youth of the state.
Rural development from Atal Digital Services Centers
The Chief Minister informed that banking and government services are now reaching every village through the Atal Digital Service Center in the panchayats of the state. This facility is already operational in 1460 panchayats and Atal Digital Services Centers will be opened in 4000 panchayats in the silver jubilee year.
Farmers and women got financial assistance
The Chief Minister said that 70 lakh women of Chhattisgarh are being given Rs 1000 per month under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Farmers are benefiting from the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal in paddy purchase. Tendu leaf collectors have been increased from Rs 4000 to Rs 5500. 10-10 thousand rupees per year assistance is being provided to landless agricultural laborers.
Improvement in traffic from railway overbridge
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw said that the railway overbridge to be built at a cost of Rs 64.94 crore was very important for Kharsia. On completion of its construction, the problem of movement arising out of the passing of trains will be overcome and time will be saved.
Finance Minister’s statement
Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary said that Chhattisgarh has moved on the path of rapid development in the last 20 months under the leadership of the Chief Minister. He informed that 13 lakh farmers have been given Rs 3716 crore as a bonus and houses have been sanctioned to 18 lakh families under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Good governance and corruption -free administration in the state
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that a CBI investigation of the PSC scam is going on in Chhattisgarh and all the routes of corruption are being closed. He said that good governance and transparency in the state is our priority.

Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, Rajya Sabha MP Mr. Devendra Pratap Singh, President of Municipal Council Kharsia, Mr. Kamal Garg, Vice President Mr. Awadhanarayan (Bunty) Soni and a large number of citizens were present in the program.
