UP Transport Helpline 149: CM Yogi Adityanath will launch new schemes of Transport Department in Lucknow. Digital bus tracking apps, electric buses, women operators appointment and interceptor vehicles for road safety will also give.

CM yogi transport initiatives: The people of Uttar Pradesh are going to get many new gifts related to the Transport Department on Saturday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will launch and inaugurate several new schemes to make transport services more modern and convenient during a special event organized at the Jupiter Hall of Indira Gandhi Foundation. Minister of State for Transport (Independent Charge) Dayashankar Singh will also be present on the occasion.

Transport services will start from 1.5 lakh public service centers

CM Yogi will introduce transport services through 1.5 lakh public service centers (CSC). With this, many services will be easily available to the people of the state at their near public service center.

New helpline 149 and MoU

The Chief Minister will launch the new simple helpline-149 of the Transport Department. Along with this, there will be an important MoU between IIT Kharagpur and the Transport Department. The agreement will also be signed between Transport Corporation and CSC.

CM Yogi will launch the Digital Bus Tracking (Guidelines) app. Also, a new booklet of International Driving Permit will be released. From this app, passengers will get information about the real status and route of buses.

Bus stations and investors honored

Digital foundation and inauguration of PPP mode and grant based bus stations will be inaugurated. During this time, certificates will also be provided to the developers of bus stations, latest automatic testing centers and investors of ADTC-RVSF centers.

Women will get empowerment

Under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, CM Yogi will provide appointment letters to three women operators. This will increase the participation of women in the transport sector.

Road safety and gift of new buses

CM Yogi will flag off 11 interceptor vehicles for road safety. Apart from this, a total of 400 BS-6 buses including 8 double decker electric bus, 16 electric bus, 1 retrofit electric bus, 10 CNG bus, 2 AC bus, 20 Tata bus and 43 Ashyars will also launch on the roads.

In this event, certificate distribution and new schemes will be introduced with the aim of making transport services more accessible. This will communicate a new energy in the transport sector of Uttar Pradesh and the passengers will get modern and safe facilities.
