During the Assembly budget session in Bhopal, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav targeted the Congress and said that the opposition should criticize the government within decorum. He described Vande Mataram as a symbol of patriotism and called it a matter of pride.

Dr. Mohan Yadav, while taking a sharp dig at the opposition during the Assembly budget session in Bhopal, said that the Governor’s address and budget discussion are important parts of democracy, on which there should be healthy debate. He said that the opposition should appreciate the good things of the government and factually criticize its shortcomings, but it is not appropriate to protest beyond limits.

CM said that some Congress leaders make mistakes in understanding the policies of the government, due to which their credibility is being affected. He sarcastically said that a situation like “Naach Na Jaane Aangan Thedha” has been created and the public is no longer trusting his words. He also made it clear that the government is ready to respond to every issue in the House and welcomes positive discussion.

Taking aim at the Congress, the Chief Minister said that the opposition should respect democratic traditions. He said that the budget address is the mirror of the government and meaningful debate on it strengthens democracy.

While speaking on the issue of Vande Mataram, the Chief Minister called it a matter of pride for the country. He said that in accordance with the spirit of Narendra Modi, following the instructions of the Central Government, starting the session with Vande Mataram takes forward the tradition of patriotism. He said that many revolutionaries and patriots had fought with Vande Mataram in the freedom struggle, but Congress tried to divide it.
