On Teachers’ Day 2025, CM Yogi Adityanath announced a cashless treatment facility for 9 lakh teachers and staff. Schemes like preparing to increase the honorarium of Shikshamitras, smart class, tablet distribution and Bal Vatika were also inaugurated.

The State Level Teacher Samman ceremony was organized on the occasion of Teachers’ Day in Lok Bhavan Auditorium of Lucknow. On this occasion, CM Yogi Adityanath gave a big gift to millions of teachers of the state.

He announced that now all teachers of Uttar Pradesh will be able to avail cashless treatment facility. This facility will not only be limited to teachers of primary, upper primary, secondary and aided schools and colleges, but will also include Shikshamitras, instructors and cooks.

CM Yogi said on- About 9 lakh teachers will get direct benefit from this decision. In the event of any disease or emergency, teachers and their relatives will no longer have to face financial crisis. The Chief Minister described it as a symbol of government’s gratitude to the contribution of teachers.

In this program, teachers were honored, tablet distribution and smart class was also released.

Processes will be completed soon

The Chief Minister said, “I want to tell all the teachers across the state to do good work, the government is with you. It is happy to announce on Teachers’ Day that now all teachers will get cashless treatment facilities. Along with this, Shikshamitra, instructor and kitchens will also be part of it.”

He directed the departments to complete all the formalities as soon as possible and implement this facility within the stipulated time frame as soon as possible.

Preparations to increase honorarium of Shikshamitras and instructors

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also said that a high -level committee has been formed to increase the honorarium of Shikshamitras and Instructors. The government will soon take positive decisions after the committee reports. He said that all these people are working shoulder to shoulder with the government in strengthening the education campaign.

Operation rejuvenation and project ornament

The Chief Minister said that the government has taken many big steps to improve the condition of schools.

  • In Operation Rejuvenation, 1.36 lakh schools were linked to 19 basic facility.
  • New buildings and safe environment were provided in 2,100 schools through Project Alankar.
  • Schemes like the skillful Bharat Mission and Bal Vatika are strengthening children’s language, mathematics and basic education.

Copy -free examinations and transparency

CM Yogi said that before 2017, the UP board had become the base of copying. Students from outside also came here and passed the examination with the help of cheating. But now examinations are being conducted under CCTV surveillance. 56 lakh students take the exam and the results are declared in a month.

He said that now the student of UP board is not less than any board.

UP is now out of negativity

The Chief Minister said, “Teachers remain teachers throughout their lives. Their importance is above the bureaucrat or leader, because they create the foundation of the nation.”

Taking a dig at the opposition, he said that before 2017, UP was backward in terms of education, health and safety. The examinations were a symbol of copying and chaos. But now that UP is moving forward in education and other sectors, then some people want to create a negative environment and take the state back.

Innovation of teachers amid propaganda

The Chief Minister said that when the school merger and child garden were being propagated, at the same time many schools set examples with their innovations.

Schools in Sultanpur, Varanasi and other districts proved with their efforts that government schools can also compete with convent and private schools. He said that the work done from the tradition is called innovation and it becomes an inspiration for the society.

Teacher vs leader and bureaucrat

Yogi Adityanath said that earlier the UP board was raised in the dock, but now it is becoming the pride of the country with innovation and improvement. He said that teachers are not less than a bureaucrat or leader, but are guards who give direction to society.

He gave examples that even today from Arunachal to Madhya Pradesh, the teachers of UP are honored for their outstanding education.

Bal Vatika- New foundation of education

The Chief Minister said that as per the new education policy, the Bal Vatika has been started for children between 3 and 6 years old. In this session, more than 5000 child gardens have opened in the state, in which more than 25,000 children have started studying.

These children have also been linked to Anganwadi centers and Chief Minister Nutrition Mission, so that their health is also empowered along with education.

Encouragement of teachers innovation

CM Yogi said that the booklets of Bal Vatika should be easy and interesting, so that children learn in sports. Under the nutrition mission, children should be given attractive and nutritious food.

He said that examples of teachers who have innovated in education should be published and conveyed to all schools. This will also inspire other teachers and will create a new direction in the education world for children.
