On Teachers’ Day, CM Yogi Adityanath gave the State Teacher Award to 81 teachers. In 2204 schools, principals were launched tablets and smart classes in 1236 schools. ‘Udgam’ digital platforms and educational books were also released.

Lucknow. The State Teachers ‘Award ceremony was held on Teachers’ Day on Friday at the Lok Bhavan Auditorium in the capital. On this occasion, a total of 81 teachers were honored with the State Teacher Award on the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna, former President and great educationist Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Of these, 66 teachers were associated with basic education and 15 teachers, who were honored for their outstanding works.

‘Udgam’ digital platform launched

In the program, the Chief Minister released the book ‘Udgam’, a compilation of ‘Gullak’, ‘Bal Vatika’ hand book and educational innovations prepared by SCERT. Also, ‘Udgam’ digital platform was also launched. Through ‘Gullak’, teachers will give knowledge to the students in a simple and interesting way and will be able to develop moral and human values ​​in them. The book ‘Udgam’ includes innovations made by teachers and their efforts.

Summer camps and short films related to plantation were also shown by the Department of Basic and Secondary Education. The ceremony was started by the students of Janta Girls Alambagh with Saraswati Vandana.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister honored 5-5 Principal and teachers associated with basic and secondary education with an amount of ₹ 25,000, citation, statue of mother Saraswati, shawl and memento.

Tablet distribution

Tablets were given to the principals of 2204 state secondary schools of the state. The Chief Minister provided tablets to the principals of Mahoba, Prayagraj, Chandauli and Ghaziabad from the stage.

Smart class inauguration

CM Yogi launched smart class in 1236 state secondary schools and gave certificates to five principals. These included the principals of Banda, Ghazipur, Gorakhpur and Lalitpur.

Ministers’ views

Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh said that the government is imparting education to children in a modern way. Children are getting equal education with smart class, good teachers and quality content. Giving quality education to girls is the priority of the government.

Secondary Education Minister Gulab Devi said that copying in the Yogi government has been completely banned. Now the mafia mafia has lost. On being caught, there is a provision of fine of Rs 1 crore and life imprisonment. He said – “The teacher makes the student a scholar and Guru Vidyarthi is the great ideal of children and society.”
