In the village Bheng (Cachar) of Raigad district, CM Vishnu Dev Sai performed Bhumi Pujan of Mand River Annicat at a cost of 38 crores. The project will improve ground water enhancement, irrigation, solar plant and traffic facility of villagers.
Raigad. CM Vishnu Dev Sai performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the Mand River Buyng Annicat cum Kajve construction work at village Bayng (Cachar) of Raigad, which costs Rs 38 crore. Major benefits from this:
- There will be ground water enhancement in the surrounding villages.
- Traffic facility will be easy.
- In an area of 100 hectares, irrigation facility will be available from solar plant and pipeline.
On this occasion, Deputy CM Arun Saw, Finance Minister O.P. Chaudhary and Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Rajwade were present.
Address of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai: ‘You are my family’
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai while addressing the villagers said: I always get affection like my family by coming to Raigad. You sent me MP for 20 years and sent me to Delhi and now after becoming Chief Minister, I have come to meet my family. Counting the achievements of the state government, he said that many public welfare schemes have been implemented under Modi’s guarantee in 20 months:
- Paddy purchase ₹ 3100 per quintal
- 70 lakh women ₹ 1000 every month from Mahtari Vandan Yojana
- Charan Paduka distribution to tendu leaf collectors
- Paddy bonuses to farmers
- 5.62 lakh landless agricultural laborers ₹ 10,000 every year
The Chief Minister said that it is the priority of the government to secure the future of the youth. The PSC scams are in jail and some are preparing to go. Also, Ramlala Darshan Yojana and pilgrimage scheme for the elderly have also been launched.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw described Annikat Bhumi Pujan as a historical opportunity for the village. He said: The promise we made, fulfilled it, Prime Minister houses are being built in every village. Mahtari Vandan Yojana is getting money on time. Development in double engine government is taking place rapidly.
Finance Minister O.P. Chaudhary address
Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary said that the Chief Minister is like a member of the family for the Raigad region. He said: There is hardly any village in Raigad where the Chief Minister has not reached. In just 20 months, the government took historical decisions for the farmers. Paddy procurement is Rs 3100 per quintal, two years outstanding bonus, landless laborers are reaching 10 thousand rupees per year in accounts. Homes are being built in every village with Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. More than 180 Prime Minister’s residences have been approved in Kachar village alone.
Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Rajwade address
Mrs. Lakshmi Rajwade said that Chhattisgarh is writing a new saga of development under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. Women and mothers and sisters are moving forward in every field. Annicut construction will provide irrigation facilities and better opportunities to farmers. In the good governance of Vishnu Dev Sai, announcements are being completed and the results of the schemes are clearly visible.
