2004 bloody encounter, 8 killed in STF Red
In 2004, the shadow of death in the life of Anant Singh once again. This time the case was from Bihar Police’s STF (Special Task Force). It was alleged that Anant Singh had given shelter to some people in his Mokama house, who were searching for STF. According to STF intelligence report, some absconding criminals were hidden in Anant Singh’s house. On receiving this information, STF planned a raid.

When the STF team reached Anant Singh’s house, the situation immediately became tense. Firing started from both sides and it continued for hours. There was an atmosphere of panic in the entire area. A total of 8 people, including a policeman, died in this long firing. It is said that Anant Singh was also shot in this encounter, but he somehow managed to escape.
After this 2004 incident, Anant Singh came into the limelight in the national media. The discussion of Bihar’s infamous Bahubali culture intensified and Anant Singh’s name was at the top.
