This eclipse will not be visible anywhere in India. However, it will be visible in parts of Namibia, Tanzania, Botswana, Lesotho, Madagascar, southern Argentina, Chile, Antarctica, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The Sutak period of the solar eclipse usually starts 12 hours before. Wherever the eclipse is visible, Sutak period will be valid there. Its religious rules will not be applicable in India.
