Marking the milestone, the actor took to social media to share a series of animated versions of the franchise’s favorite characters, evoking memories of the comedy classic and writing, “It’s been 20 years since Golmaal… and the fun is still unlimited!”
This hilarious tribute celebrates the enduring legacy of ‘Golmaal’, which first hit theaters in 2006 and went on to become one of Hindi cinema’s most successful comedy franchises. Filmmaker Rohit Shetty, who has been directing the ‘Golmaal’ franchise for two decades, also celebrated the moment. Teasing fans before ‘Golmaal 5’, he wrote, “It’s been 20 years. Thank you for the love all these years. See you soon with GOLMAAL 5 in theaters.”
An evergreen comedy entertainer
In the year 2006, ‘Golmaal: Fun Unlimited’ hit the theaters without huge expectations. However, no one expected what happened next.
