The Shivalinga in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple is always under the shadow of a pillar, but the surprising thing is that there is no such pillar near the Shivalinga, whose shadow can fall there.

Achaleshwar Mahadev Temple

Achaleshwar Mahadev Temple is in Dholpur, Rajasthan. This temple has a very unique feature. The Shivalinga installed here changes its color thrice. This temple looks red in the morning with the rays of the sun. It turns saffron in the afternoon and turns dark in the evening. Harihareshwar temple is in Solapur, Maharashtra. The sculpture of this temple is unique and very mysterious. In the year 1999, a huge Shivalinga was found during excavation here. Shivalinga is about two meters high and weighs 4.5 tonnes. There are 359 faces carved on Shivalinga. Every facial expression is different from each other.
