Darshan happening in 40 minutes
The doors of the Mahakal temple were opened at 2:30 am on Saturday, February 14, after which Lord Mahakal was worshiped in attractive attire. Baba Mahakal was offered a silver crown of Sheshnag, a silver mundamaal and a rosary of Rudraksh. During this time devotees also had darshan of Baba Mahakal. The temple committee claims that on Mahashivratri, devotees are being given darshan in an average of 40 minutes. On the occasion of Mahashivratri, Baba Mahakal will give darshan to the devotees continuously for 44 hours. Such an opportunity comes only once a year.
How to have darshan of Baba Mahakal on Mahashivratri?
If you want to have darshan of Baba Mahakal on Mahashivratri, then for this you will have to enter from the gate near Bhil Samaj Dharamshala. From here, through various routes via Facility Center-01, you can have darshan of Lord Mahakal from Ganesh Mandapam. For early darshan, you will have to spend Rs 250 and buy an early darshan ticket.
