ghu aadhaar card
It is often seen that even for an inch of land one has to go to court for years. Sometimes there is an error in the map, sometimes there is a crisis regarding the identity of the real owner, disputes related to land take away both the savings and peace of the common man. But now a permanent solution to this problem is being found. Delhi government has taken a historic decision, under which now every land, like humans, will have its own Aadhar card. In technical language it has been named ULPIN i.e. ‘Unique Plot Identification Number’. Recently this ‘Bhu-Aadhaar’ has been introduced in Maharashtra.
That 14 digit number that will change everything
In this new system, each plot or field will be given a unique number of 14 digits. This is what is being called ‘land base’. Just as your identity becomes visible as soon as you enter your Aadhaar number, similarly the entire history of the land will be revealed as soon as you enter this 14 digit number in the system. What is the area of that land, what are its boundaries, who is its real owner and what crops have been grown on it till now, all this information will be available on one click.
How can the common man and farmers directly benefit?
The biggest benefit of this Land Aadhaar System will be to those farmers and common people who face pressure from offices to prove their right to their land.
- End of disputes: When land boundaries are determined through satellite and digital mapping, disputes with neighbors over bunds will end.
- Ease of loan and compensation: At present, many documents have to be submitted to get loan from banks or to get compensation in case of crop failure. With Bhoo Aadhaar, banks will be able to immediately verify in whose name the land is, which will make the loan process much faster.
- Control on fraud: People often become victims of fraud while purchasing land. Through this unique number, the buyer will be able to check in advance who is the real owner of the land and whether there is any old dispute going on over it.
