On Mahashivratri, sacred prasad, water, rags and clothes were offered from 62 temples of the country and abroad at Kashi Vishwanath Dham. This initiative gives the message of uniting the Sanatan Samaj and strengthening global spiritual unity.
Varanasi. On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, Varanasi has started a new and special spiritual tradition. Under this initiative, sacred prasad, worshiped clothes, rags, holy water and devotional offerings from major Jyotirlingas, Siddhapeeths, Shaktipeeths and ancient pilgrimage places in the country and abroad are being offered at the feet of Lord Shri Vishweshwar Mahadev. The purpose of this spiritual coordination is to unite the entire Sanatan Samaj in one thread and to realize the spirit of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’. This initiative is being considered an important step towards strengthening spiritual unity at the global level.
Sacred offerings from 62 temples reached Kashi Vishwanath Dham
Till Saturday, holy prasad and offerings from a total of 62 temples have reached Kashi Vishwanath Dham. Devotees from Tamil Nadu including Sri Ratnagiriswarar Temple (Chennai), Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple (Chennai), Then Sabanayakar Temple (Kovilur), Arulmigu Vamanapurapheswarar (Tirumanikuzhi), Arulmigu Draupathi Amman Temple, Arulmigu Reena Vimoshanar (Thirukandeshwaram), Arulmigu Tiru Sangri Kali Amman (Vazhapet), Arulmigu Bhoologa Nathar (Nellikuppam), Arulmigu Bhoominatha Easwarar (Vattippakkam), Sri Madurai Veeran Temple, Arulmigu Kumara Guru Paramaswami (S Kumarapuram), Arulmigu Vedha Arulpureeswarar (Kandarakottai), Arulmigu Sabanayagar (Keerapalayam), Arulmigu Kasi Viswanathar (Gedilam River), Arulmigu Virutha Girishwarar, Arulmigu Amrit Lingeshwar, Arulmigu Margabandhu, Arulmigu Nadan Patheswarar and Arulmigu Singaranatahar (Kongarayanur).
Participation of other major temples including Shri Krishna Janmasthan and Mata Vaishno Devi
Sri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan from Mathura, Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board from Jammu and Kashmir, Sri Maha Mariamman Temple from Malaysia, Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple, Sri Kandaswamy Kovil, Sri Veera Muniswarar Temple, Sri Nagarathar Shivan Temple, Arulmigu Balathandayuthapani Temple and Sri Kunj Bihari Temple have also participated in the campaign.
Faith related to major temples of Kashi also
Major temples of Varanasi have also participated in this spiritual initiative. These include Saptamatrika Siddhapeeth Shri Badi Shitaladham, Kashi Trilochan Mahadev, Badi Kali Ji Temple, Bada Ganesh Temple, Kedareshwar Temple, Om Kaleshwar Temple, Kalbhairav Temple, Annapurna Temple, Mahalakshmi Temple, Batuk Bhairav Temple, Kamakhya Temple, Vishalakshi Temple and many other major temples. Holy Prasad, Raj, clothes and worshipable materials have been sent from these temples to Kashi Vishwanath Dham.
Gifts also arrived from Kedarnath, Siddhivinayak and Dwarkadhish temples.
Sacred offerings and offerings have also reached Kashi Vishwanath Dham from Shri Kedarnath of Uttarakhand, Raja and Shri Siddhivinayak Temple of Lalbagh in Mumbai, Dwarkadhish Temple of Gujarat, Shri Aishwarya Lakshmi Temple (Colombo) of Sri Lanka and Nathdwara Temple (Udaipur) of Rajasthan.

These offerings include holy water from various pilgrimage sites, worshiped garlands, cotton, sandalwood, clothes and other religious items. This entire process has emerged as a symbol of spiritual unity and emotional connection of the Sanatan tradition.
The order continues through couriers and representatives
Prasad from many temples is being sent through courier, while representatives of some prestigious temples will themselves reach Kashi and offer offerings. This event is not just a religious event, but is also acting as a spiritual and cultural bridge between the pilgrimage sites in the country and abroad.
Message of spiritual unity at global level
This initiative of Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust is giving the message of harmony, spiritual brotherhood and cultural unity in Sanatan culture.
