Jasprit Bumrah, IND vs ENG 1st ODI: India’s star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who returned to ODI cricket after a long wait of almost three years at the Edgbaston ground in Birmingham, created a stir as soon as he arrived. As soon as he entered the field in the first ODI against England, Bumrah not only put the host team in trouble with his sharp bowling, but also made two big records in his name. Bumrah once again proved his dominance in international cricket by dismissing England captain Harry Brook on the very first ball of his second spell.

After his first spell, when Jasprit Bumrah came to bowl the second spell on the call of captain Shubman Gill, he achieved success on the very first ball. Bumrah bowled a short of length ball outside the off-stump, which got more bounce and movement outside. English captain Harry Brook tried to use the speed of the ball to turn it towards point, but the ball took the outer edge of his bat and fell into the hands of Rohit Sharma standing in the slips.

Thanks to this one wicket, Jasprit Bumrah has become the number-1 Indian bowler who has taken the most ODI International wickets on the soil of England. He has left behind star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja in this matter. Jasprit Bumrah now has 31 ODI wickets in England. Earlier, he was jointly at first position with Ravindra Jadeja.

With this, he has become the third fastest bowler from India to take 150 ODI wickets. In this list, Mohammed Shami (80 matches) is at first place and Kuldeep Yadav (88 matches) is at second place. The special thing is that like in ODI, his 150th victim in Test also became the captain of England. In the Test, he completed his 150 wickets by dismissing Ben Stokes.
