The video purportedly shows the ADM entering the doctor’s chamber at Bachpan Neo and Child Hospital in Forbesganj. He asks the doctor’s name twice and when the doctor asks the reason for questioning him, he allegedly slaps him.
The doctor has alleged that the investigation team entered his chamber without any prior notice and started abusing him for not wearing an apron. When tension escalated, he accused the ADM of slapping him without any provocation.

According to reports running on X, the ADM has also filed a counter-complaint, claiming that he was assaulted and wrongfully confined by hospital staff during the inspection drive.
Meanwhile, Bihar Health Services Association (BHSA) has reacted strongly to the incident and strongly condemned the alleged attack. In a letter to the Secretary of the Health Department, dated February 12, 2026, the association has demanded immediate suspension of the concerned officer and an impartial investigation.
The association has issued a 48-hour ultimatum and warned that if strict action is not taken, health services may be closed in the entire district.
The letter said, “Such incidents seriously affect the morale, honor and safety of doctors in the state. They are creating an atmosphere of fear and anger among the doctors. These incidents are also extremely detrimental to the smooth functioning of the healthcare system. If appropriate action is not taken against the officer within the stipulated time, the Bihar Health Services Association will be forced to take further steps to protect the honor and safety of the doctors.”
