News of a heart-wrenching accident has come out from Mumbai. Where a major accident occurred during metro construction work in Mulund (West) area on Saturday afternoon. A cement portion of a metro pillar broke off and fell directly on a passing rickshaw. In this accident, one youth died and three were reported injured.
Pillar of under-construction metro rail route fell
Actually, this major accident happened near Johnson & Johnson Company on LBS Road at around 12:20 pm. Where three to four people were injured when a part of the pillar of the under-construction metro rail route collapsed. As soon as the news of the accident was received, the fire brigade team and police reached the spot and rescue was started. Employees of the firm building the metro rail route are present on the spot to keep an eye on the operations after the incident.
Everything shattered as soon as the cement slab fell.
Giving information about the case, an official said that as soon as the heavy cement slab broke and fell on an autorickshaw below, it shattered into pieces. It hit the front part of a car. Due to which the front part of the car got damaged. It is said that there were not many people under the pillar during the accident, otherwise the death toll could have been higher. At present the injured people have been admitted to the hospital.
