Spoilers Ahead
Ronnie meets with an accident, but survives miraculously. Months after being declared brain dead, he recovers. However, people around him, including his doctor, make him believe that he is hallucinating. Ronnie is living with the guilt of Alisha (Harnaaz Sandhu)’s death in the accident. He sits by her grave and remembers the time spent with her. The trauma of losing his beloved makes him aggressive. One day, his brother Jeetu (Shreyas Talpade) sends Olivia/Pratishtha (Sonam Bajwa) to cheer him up. Instead, he makes her clean his untidy house. They grow closer, and Ronnie tells her about Alisha.
After taking Pratishtha through his love story, Ronnie realises that his picture with Alisha has been replaced. He sets out to attack his brother Jeetu, who is busy repairing a lady’s car. Threatened by Ronnie, the woman summons the cop. The ACP (Upendra Limaye) begins investigating the case to know more about Alisha. They’re misled, and Ronnie’s claims are not validated.
As he digs further, Ronnie finds himself in the middle of a conspiracy. The existence of Alisha is proven, and he uses his might to reach the love of his life. Alisha is not dead.
Jeetu loses his life while protecting Ronnie from Chacko (Sanjay Dutt) and his men. Alisha’s sister was also asked to pretend as if she did not know anything about her. Alisha’s fake death was staged by Chacko, a menacing man.
Chacko has a reason to hold Alisha hostage. His girlfriend, Avantika (also played by Harnaaz Sandhu), is a vivacious and confident woman. On the day of their wedding, Avantika is killed during a violent incident. Chacko challenges ‘God’ to return her. Following the accident, he discovers Alisha, who is Avantika’s doppelgänger. Obsessed with her, Chacko stages the accident and secretly rescues Alisha.
Chacko holds Alisha hostage at his mansion. He desires to marry her. Alisha denies saying she loves Ronnie and isn’t Avantika. Chacko uses Ronnie and Pratishtha’s closeness to create a rift between the couple. Pratishtha was killed during a combat.
In the climax, Ronnie, who was tied by a chain, makes it in time to stop Alisha and Chacko’s marriage. A massive, violent combat follows. Chacko believes he managed to turn Alisha against Ronnie, but their ‘saccha pyaar’ emerges victorious. During the scuffle, one of the pillars of the Church develops a crack. Just when Chacko is about to shoot, the pillar collapses on him and he is dead on the spot.
Chacko and his brother (Saurabh Sachdeva) are killed. The film ends with Ronnie and Alisha visiting their grave.
Baaghi 4 is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by A Harsha. The film released in theatres nationwide today.
