Ingredients for Soya Oats Tikki

  • 1 cup soya granules (soaked in lukewarm water and squeezed)
  • 1 cup oats (lightly roasted and coarsely ground)
  • 2 boiled potatoes (mashed)
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 small carrot (grated)
  • 2-3 green chillies (finely chopped, optional)
  • 2-3 tbsp finely chopped coriander
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • salt as per taste
  • 1-2 tbsp gram flour
  • 1-2 tsp oil

How to make Soya Oats Tikki?

  1. To make soya chunk and oats tikki, you have to use the main ingredients first. Soak soya chunks in water for some time, squeeze out the water and grind it coarsely in a mixer grinder.
  2. Grind the oats finely in a mixer and take them out in a bowl.
  3. Now grate the carrots in a bowl and also prepare the binding by adding 1 small onion finely chopped, 2-3 green chillies, 2-3 tablespoons finely chopped coriander, ginger paste, roasted cumin powder, garam masala, chaat masala, salt as per taste, 1-2 tablespoons gram flour.
  4. Now heat oil in a pan and shallow fry it.
  5. Pack Oats Soya Tikki with Green Chutney in kids tiffin box.
