Kohrra Season 2 ending explained: Who kills Preet Bajwa?

Kohrra Season 2 ending explained: Netflix has finally dropped Season 2 of Kohrra, starring Barun Sobti and Mona Singh. The Punjabi-language thriller comes back with a fresh case, a new town and emotional wounds that cut deeper than before. This time, the question haunting Dalerpura is simple yet devastating: Who killed Preet Bajwa?

In the second season, Barun reprises his role as Assistant Sub-Inspector Amarpal Garundi. He leaves Jagrana behind and joins Sub-Inspector Dhanwant Kaur (Mona Singh) to investigate the murder of a young NRI woman.

Kohrra Season 2 plot

Preet Bajwa, portrayed by Pooja Bhamrah, had returned from California after separating from her husband, Tarsem aka Sam (Rannvijay Singha). She was living with her widowed mother and brother, Baljinder Atwal. Her body is discovered in a barn. From that moment, suspicion spreads like wildfire. Her estranged husband, Sam, becomes the first obvious suspect. After all, Preet was having an affair with Johnny Malang, who owed Sam money. At home, Baljinder has issues with his wife, Twinkle and her brother Karamjot.

As Garundi and Dhanwant dig deeper, another shocking layer emerges. A fire at Baljinder’s poultry farm exposes a horrifying truth. Several indentured labourers had been chained inside, unable to escape. The Atwal family’s dark secret surfaces. Baljinder insists he did nothing wrong. Still, he is arrested in connection with the labourers’ deaths.

Just when it seems the puzzle is solved, Twinkle drops a bombshell. She admits she asked her brother’s henchman Pamma to kill Preet to secure property rights for her daughters. However, she reveals that when Pamma reached the barn, Preet was already dead. The murder had already happened.

The final pieces fall into place through Arun, a young man from Jharkhand searching for his missing father, Rakesh Kumar. Arun believes his father died in the poultry farm fire. In reality, Rakesh had been released days earlier but was mentally scarred from years of captivity. He returned to the Atwal property and chained himself inside the barn.

Arun kills the agent who had once arranged his father’s job. Father and son finally reunite behind bars, broken but together. Meanwhile, Sam prepares to return to California.
