India register 10th straight win in T20 World Cups
India became the first team to win 10 consecutive matches in the T20 World Cup history. The unbeaten streak started in the 2024 edition, where the Men in Blue won all eight matches, including the final against South Africa. They also won the opening two matches of the ongoing edition.
This is the longest winning streak for any team in the tournament, bettering Australia’s record of eight successive wins across 2022 and 2024, while South Africa also won eight on the trot in 2024 until the final.
