India defeated Namibia by 93 runs in the Group A match of T20 World Cup. Batting first, Team India scored 209 runs. Ishan Kishan (61) and Hardik Pandya (52) shone. Namibia was reduced to 116 runs due to the brilliant spin of Varun Chakraborty and Akshar Patel.
India vs Namibia T20 Match Results: In the 18th match of Group A in the T20 World Cup, Team India gave a crushing defeat to Namibia. India had to bat first after losing the toss at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The Indian team scored 209 runs after losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Namibia’s team could score only 116 runs. In this way India won the match by a huge margin of 93 runs.

Namibian batsmen got caught in the spin of Varun Chakraborty and Axar Patel. Varun Chakraborty took 3 wickets while Akshar Patel took 2 wickets. Lauren Steenkamp scored the maximum 29 runs for Namibia. Apart from him, Frylink contributed 22 runs and captain Gerhard Erasmus contributed 18 runs.

Sanju Samson, who came to open in place of Abhishek Sharma, gave a fast start to India by scoring 22 runs in 8 balls while batting brilliantly. He hit 1 four and 3 sixes. However, he lost his wicket after playing a wrong shot. Later his role was played by Ishan Kishan and he scored 61 runs in 24 balls. Ishaan hit 6 fours and 5 skyscraper sixes in his innings. Captain Surya Kumar Yadav scored 12, Tilak Verma scored 25, Shivam Dubey scored 23 and Hardik Pandya scored 52 runs. Hardik hit 4 fours and 4 sixes in his innings.

Team India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya was chosen as the player of the match. While he scored 52 runs in 28 balls, he also took two wickets for 21 runs in bowling.
