T20 World Cup 2026: India crushes Namibia, place in Super-8 almost confirmed

IND vs NAM: India achieved a big victory against Namibia in T20 World Cup 2026. After defeating USA and Namibia, Team India has almost confirmed its place in Super 8. Batting first, India scored 209 runs in 20 overs, in response Namibia team surrendered. Namibia scored only 116 runs. The heroes of India’s victory were Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya. Ishan scored 61 runs in 24 balls and Pandya scored 52 runs in 28 balls and took 2 wickets.

Suryakumar Yadav once again lost the toss and India was invited to bat first. Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan gave an explosive start to the team. Sanju Samson hit 3 sixes and a four as soon as he came but he was out on a personal score of 22 runs. After this, Ishan Kishan batted stormily and scored a half-century in just 20 balls. This player scored 61 runs in 24 balls. Tilak Verma scored 25 runs. Captain Suryakumar Yadav failed and scored 12 runs in 13 balls. Hardik Pandya also showed great strength as a batsman. This player scored a stormy half-century in 27 balls, although he was out after scoring 52 runs on the next ball.

However, the middle order of Team India failed miserably. Rinku Singh could score only 1 run. Axar Patel was out on the first ball. Shivam Dubey scored 23 runs but he could not bat openly. Captain Gerhard Erasmus took 4 wickets for Namibia.

Varun Chakraborty performed best among Indian bowlers. This spinner took 3 wickets for 7 runs in just 12 balls. Axar Patel and Hardik Pandya took 2-2 wickets. Arshdeep Singh, Shivam Dubey and Jasprit Bumrah got 1 wicket each. With this victory, Team India has almost reached Super 8, it is on top in Group A. India has to play the next match against Pakistan on 15 February. Team India will go to Colombo to play this match.
