Gautam Gambhir Vs Virat Kohli: The ODI series between India and England is going to start from July 14. The first match of this series is to be played at Edgbaston ground in Birmingham. Team India has practiced a lot in Edgbaston to take on England. But something was also seen in the same practice session, due to which a new controversy has arisen. According to the report of Times Now, Gambhir and Virat did not talk during the practice session in Birmingham.
Talks between Gambhir and Virat stopped!
According to the report, Gambhir talked to almost all the senior players of the team like Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul during the practice session held in Edgbaston. There is visual evidence of that too. But, no concrete evidence has emerged regarding coach Gambhir’s conversation with Virat Kohli. According to the report, Team India’s batting coach Sitanshu Kotak was also seen talking to Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir separately about net practice. Such pictures from the Indian camp have exposed the discord within Team India before the ODI series.
Virat and Gambhir’s relationship was already bitter
The relationship between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir is already strained. The pictures of the fight between the two also made a lot of headlines during the IPL. However, in between there were reports that everything was normal between the two. But, it seems that the rift in the relationship between Gambhir and Virat is not healed yet. Times Now’s report from Edgbaston has revealed yet another example of the breakdown in communication between them.
