Bihar News: The life of a father and son living in Muzaffarpur, Bihar suddenly changed in such a way that both of them became billionaires together. Rs 1500 crore were deposited in his accounts. This miracle was shocking.
Muzaffarpur (Bihar): An elderly pensioner in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar was surprised when an amount of more than Rs 700 crore was accidentally credited to his bank account. After this technical glitch of the bank, the officials have started investigating the matter.
Kameshwar Mishra gets a social security pension of Rs 1,100 every month. When he went to the bank with his son to withdraw his pension, he came to know about this huge amount in his account.
1500 crore rupees came into the account of father and son
- According to Mishra, the same amount was visible in his son’s bank account also. The total amount in both the accounts combined was more than Rs 1500 crore. However, after some time this money mysteriously disappeared and the account balance became normal as before.

Narrating the incident to ANI, Kameshwar Mishra said, “I get an old age pension of Rs 1,100 every month. I had gone to withdraw this money with my son, who cannot speak or hear. After withdrawing the money, I asked about my bank balance. The employee checking the balance on the CBS system was also stunned; he was shocked to see such a huge amount. For a moment he was speechless and could not understand anything.”
- He further said, “The amount was Rs 7,59,69,51,951.16. The same amount was visible in my son’s account too. I was shocked to see such a huge amount… The total in both the accounts combined was more than Rs 15 billion (Rs 1500 crore). I asked what happened – how did so much money come? When the screen was checked, the same figure was visible on it: 7,59,51,16. This was more than 15 billion in just one account. This caused a lot of mental stress to me.
All the money disappeared within a short time
- After this incident, bank officials verified the account information, after which this abnormal balance disappeared from both the accounts. Following this incident, an internal investigation has been launched to find out the reason for the incorrect credit appearing.
- Officials have started an investigation to find out the technical glitch due to which such a huge amount appeared in the pensioner’s account. More information is awaited on the nature of the breach and which banking system was involved.
