While presenting the Budget 2026-27 in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna mentioned the achievements of the government through poetry. He created a poetic atmosphere in the House by praising the works, development model and law and order of the Yogi government. He also took jibe at the tenure of previous governments.

Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, while mentioning the changes in Uttar Pradesh during the budget speech, said that the works of Yogi government have changed the picture of the state. Praising the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, he read the couplet-
It is commendable, the style is perfect for every task.
UP is singing a song in the name of Yogi ji.
He said that the works of Yogi government are being appreciated across the country and Uttar Pradesh is moving in a new direction of development.
Appreciation of Yogi Adityanath’s leadership and development model
Suresh Khanna said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has worked continuously for the development of every section and every area since the first day of his tenure. He presented the Chief Minister’s resolve in the form of a couplet-
This is my passion, this is my dream
Light a lamp and illuminate where there is darkness.
He said that Uttar Pradesh has created a new identity in the fields of law and order, infrastructure and investment.
UP IT Hub Vision: Focus on technology and information technology
The Finance Minister mentioned the rapid expansion of modern technology and information technology in the state under the guidance of the Prime Minister and the leadership of the Chief Minister. He said that Uttar Pradesh will soon emerge as a major IT hub of the country. Referring to the hard work of the government, he said-
They are the ones who shine in the sky as stars

Cultural heritage, tourism and employment generation
Referring to the neglect of cultural and religious heritage during the previous governments, Suresh Khanna said that the present government has done the work of their revival. He said that due to promotion of tourism, new employment opportunities have also been created in the state. He expressed the change in these words-

Emphasis on welfare of women, laborers and weaker sections
The Finance Minister mentioned the all-inclusive vision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He said that the government is committed to the welfare of women, children, workers and weaker sections of the society. He expressed the process of change with this couplet-

Vision of safe and prosperous Uttar Pradesh
At the end of his speech, Suresh Khanna envisioned a safe, healthy and happy society. He said that the working style of the government is inspired by the spirit of public welfare. While reading the last couplet he said-

I am telling the philosophy to everyone.
If you can, wipe the tears of the sad ones.
Don’t live only for your own happiness.
