CM Yogi’s initiative and Deep Tech Summit proposes

Chief Minister Yogi said at an event held at IIT Kanpur on Wednesday that India’s first Deep Tech India will take shape in 2025 Uttar Pradesh. This requires a large summit, in which scientists, researchers and startups from all over the country together prepare a strong roadmap.

He said that the center of this initiative should be IIT Kanpur, as it is already a leader in deep tech innovation. The Chief Minister also informed that land has been allotted for deep tech hub in Gautam Budh Nagar district. It will be realized in its construction in collaboration with DRDO, ISRO and other top institutions.

Focus on scientific research and startups

IIT Kanpur is leading this ambitious mission of Chief Minister Yogi. There are already hundreds of startups incubated here and intensive scientific research is working on new discoveries.

UP’s Startup Ecosystem and Deep Tech Capital

Today, Uttar Pradesh is fast moving towards deep tech startup capital. More than 250 deep tech startups are targeted to incubate. Their total valuation is estimated to be more than Rs 2.5 lakh crore. These startups will generate more than 10,000 direct employment. With this, the youth of the state will get employment opportunities in the state itself and the local talent will be prevented from going out. This process will also help in making the state self -sufficient.

Innovation-Drivan steps towards the state

This vision of the Yogi government is an attempt to convert Uttar Pradesh only from consumer state to productive and innovation-driven state. Here projects related to research and development will not be limited to the laboratory only, but they will be converted to the product directly to the market. This process will make Uttar Pradesh an innovation engine of India in the coming years and will show a new technical direction to the country.
