Dr. Salim Zaidi says that the refined oil used in your cooking is more dangerous than alcohol and sugar, which most people consume on a daily basis. Sunflower oil, canola oil, soybean oil, rice bran oil and vegetable ghee available in the market; Those which are marketed as healthy are actually not healthy at all. Usually words like heart healthy or light are written on them, but these are most harmful for your liver, brain and heart health.

Why is refined oil so harmful?

Dr. Salim Zaidi explains that to make refined oil, seeds are treated with chemical solvent at a heat of more than 200° C. Due to this process, compounds that cause inflammation are formed in this oil, which increases the risk of heart diseases, diabetes and even cancer.

The worst is vegetable ghee or dalda.

Doctors say that if you are using vegetable ghee or Dalda in your daily cooking, then it is more dangerous than refined oil. Actually it is hydrogenated oil, which contains a lot of trans fats.
