Hyderabad (Telangana) [भारत]July 14 (ANI): GMR Hyderabad International Airport (GHIAL) on Monday announced that Hyderabad International Airport has been awarded the fourth most family-friendly airport in the world by AttractionTickets.com, a leading UK-based travel experience provider. The airport is one of only two Indian airports to feature in this prestigious global ranking.
Evaluation done on these parameters
According to a release, the recognition is part of AttractionTickets.com’s ‘Happiest Airports Ranking’, which evaluated more than 140 airports around the world on key family-centric parameters, giving it a score of 18.5 out of 20. These criteria included Google review ratings, availability of children’s play areas, family security lanes, baby-changing facilities, stroller services, rest and sleeping zones, Wi-Fi quality, airport size, and support for neurodivergent travelers. Each airport was given a score out of 20 based on their performance on these nine indicators and the final ranking was prepared through data analysis conducted in May 2026.
