Do children get the fruits of their parents’ good and bad deeds? The answer to this has been given by renowned astrologer Dr. Basavaraj Guruji. According to Guruji, just as parents transfer material assets like property, money, gold etc. to their children, in the same way debts are also transferred to the children. This is described in the scriptures. Similarly, sins, virtues and karma are also transferred from generation to generation. People take birth on the basis of their karma in previous births. It is said that God gives us birth through parents according to the sins and karma of previous births.

He said that parents want their children to be happy, but what matters is how they have lived their life, how much wealth they have earned, how much land they have acquired, how much power they have acquired or how they have earned it. On the path of religion, money earned honestly is easily available to children and helps in their development. On the path of unrighteousness, money earned by torturing the helpless, cheating, charging excessive interest or harassing the weak can cause suffering for children. In such cases, we see that children struggle to get property records corrected, face financial difficulties or are unable to benefit from that property in any way. All these are the results of the sins or virtues of the parents.

What are the consequences of committing sin?

Guruji said that as a result of the virtuous deeds of the parents, the children can develop their inheritance in a better way, but if they get the fruits of their sins, problems like financial crisis, stagnation in development and dissatisfaction in life can arise. Unjust conduct, charging high interest rates and oppressing the weak will definitely affect the next generation of the family.

follow the path of religion

He said that another important thing is that no matter how much property, land and money you acquire, it is very unlikely that it will survive till the third generation after you. Even in the case of kings and emperors, the situation is the same. Guruji advises that since the virtues, sins and deeds of our parents are all transmitted from generation to generation, if we follow the path of Dharma carefully, it will lead to the welfare of us and the future generations.
