Strict action by SP Abhishek Jha
Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Bijnor Superintendent of Police Abhishek Jha immediately took cognizance. Based on preliminary facts, both the policemen have been suspended. Besides, orders have been issued for a departmental inquiry into the entire episode.
The SP has clarified that discipline is paramount in the police department and compromising the dignity of the uniform will not be accepted under any circumstances. Both the policemen will remain suspended until the investigation is completed.
