In Haveri, fed up with exam pressure and parental advice, a 16-year-old SSLC student committed suicide by consuming poison. He died during treatment at KIMS Hospital in Hubli.
Haveri: Due to exam pressure and misunderstanding the advice of her parents, an SSLC student committed suicide by consuming poison. This heart-wrenching incident took place in Marol village of the district. The deceased has been identified as Ningamma Balannavar (16).
The girl was troubled by her parents’ advice
The deceased girl was studying in class 10th in the local government high school. It is being told that his parents had advised him that the annual examinations were approaching, so study properly without wasting time. Due to repeated pressure from her parents regarding studies, the girl became upset and fed up with life, she consumed poison at home.
Death during treatment in KIMS, Hubli
Seeing the girl consuming poison, the family members immediately took her to the local hospital and provided first aid. Later, when his condition became critical, he was admitted to Haveri District Hospital. She was admitted to KIMS Hospital in Hubli for better treatment, but the treatment had no effect and the girl died.
