After retirement, Ian Bell has worked with England Lions and Under-19 teams. In 2024, he worked as the batting coach of the Sri Lankan Test team on the England tour. Additionally, he also had a short stint with the New Zealand men’s team ahead of the 2023 ODI World Cup and has also contributed as the assistant coach of Birmingham Phoenix in The Hundred. Bell will now work with cricket director Venugopal Rao, head coach Hemang Badani and bowling coach Munaf Patel at Delhi Capitals.
