There was chaos in Seeganpur village of Phaphund police station area when the family members reached the daughter’s room in the morning to wake her up and were stunned to see the sight there. About five feet long snake skin wrapped in clothes was found lying on the bed, while the girl was missing from the room. After this various types of discussions started in the village.
Rumor spread after seeing slough, created a stir in the village
As soon as the news of the incident spread, superstition gained momentum in the village. Some started saying that the girl was taken away by a snake, while some even said that the girl was a wish-fulfilling serpent and disappeared in disguise. Within no time this rumor spread throughout the village and surrounding areas. The villagers searched extensively for the girl, but could not find any clue. No one even saw him leaving or coming, due to which the mystery deepened further.
The family members also told that there was a hole of a snake under the room where the girl used to sleep and in the past also there had been reports of snakes coming out from time to time. This gave further fuel to the rumours.

Crying family members informed the police
The family is in distress due to the sudden disappearance of the girl. Family members say that their daughter cannot leave the house without telling anything. He appealed to the police for the safe return of his daughter as soon as possible. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, information was given to Phaphund police station, after which the police reached the spot and started investigation.
Truth revealed in police investigation, rumors denied
Initially the matter seemed mysterious to the police too, but as the investigation progressed the situation started becoming clear. Ajitmal area officer Manoj Gangwar said that information was received from village Seeganpur of Phaphund police station area that a girl of about 20 years and 6 months had left the house without informing. A case has been registered on the basis of the application of the family members.
He said that case number has been registered under relevant sections 32/26 and 87 BNS. Several police teams have been formed and searches are being conducted at possible places for the safe recovery of the girl.
