‘This is unsafe’: BTS fans alarmed by disturbing airport crowding videos | WATCH

BTS members: Fresh security concerns have surfaced around BTS after chaotic scenes at Incheon International Airport went viral. For the unversed, the K-pop boy group is currently immersed in work on their comeback album ARIRANG.

Recently, they found themselves navigating a dangerously crowded arrival that many described as “uncomfortable”, “unsafe”, and deeply troubling.

BTS members face security concerns

What should have been a routine return to Seoul quickly spiralled into chaos. Viral clips show the BTS members stepping out into a sea of raised phones, flashing cameras and tightly packed bodies. Fans and media surged forward, equipment pushed dangerously close, while security struggled to maintain a protective formation. The visuals triggered immediate backlash, with ARMYs questioning why such scenes continue to be treated as normal.

The situation became even more alarming after another incident involving Jimin came to light. According to a report by Dispatch, a foreign woman allegedly pretended to be a reporter in an attempt to get physically close to Jimin and other BTS members. Security intervened before any harm occurred, but the episode sent shockwaves through the fandom.

In the same footage, the members can be seen signalling fans to stay calm and keep their distance. Despite this, several individuals breached their personal space.

Fans have since been urging HYBE and BigHit Music to prioritise artist safety. Several fan accounts have reportedly sent emails asking for stronger security measures and firm action against those who violate physical and mental boundaries.

This isn’t the first time BTS have found themselves at the centre of safety concerns. Over the years, repeated incidents involving crowding, invasive behaviour and inappropriate physical contact have raised serious questions about how K-pop idols are protected in public spaces.
