NED vs NAM: Namibia has to face Team India on 12th February. But, before that he had to face a crushing defeat at the hands of Netherlands. Netherlands defeated Namibia by 7 wickets in the match played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Namibia team will also play with India on this ground. The big thing is that Netherlands not only defeated Namibia but also defeated Pakistan in the points table.
Lead played a brilliant innings, Netherlands became close to victory
Netherlands did not have a good start while chasing the target of 157 runs from Namibia. His 2 wickets fell in the powerplay itself. But after that just D lead did amazing batting. He not only scored a stormy half-century but also made a good partnership with Colin Akerman and Scott Edwards.

Just D lead scored unbeaten 72 runs facing 48 balls at a strike rate of 150. His innings included 5 fours and 4 sixes. This is the fourth half-century of Lead’s T20 International career. While playing this innings, he made a partnership of 70 runs with Akerman for the third wicket. Then he added 43 unbeaten runs with captain Scott Edwards for the fourth wicket. The result was that Netherlands achieved the target of 157 runs in the 18th over itself.
No Namibian batsman could score a half-century
Earlier, batting first, Namibia had scored 156 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. No batsman from Namibia scored a half-century. Nicole Lofty scored the maximum 42 runs. For the Netherlands, if D Leed was the most successful with the bat, then Logan van Wyk was the most successful bowler, taking 2 wickets.
Netherlands left Pakistan behind
This is the first win for Netherlands after 2 matches. Earlier, it had to face defeat against Pakistan. Netherlands has 2 points after 2 matches and has currently grabbed the number 2 position in Group A of the points table, leaving Pakistan behind. Pakistan team has come at third position. Pakistan also has 2 points in the points table but Netherlands is ahead of them due to better runs. India is the top team in Group A.
