The accused was absconding
Rajkumar was wanted in the Shahabad serial murder case. He was absconding since the night of 10th July. It is alleged that on the same night he had killed a total of 6 people including a minor girl, two members of her family, his wife and his two children.
According to the police, a case was already going on against him. In May, Rajkumar was booked under the POCSO Act after the minor girl’s family accused him of stalking and harassing her. According to investigators, all the victims were attacked with a sharp weapon. Soon after the incident, Rajkumar had reportedly called his father. He confessed to the murders and said he was going to commit suicide. After this he switched off his mobile phone.
investigation is still ongoing
After receiving this information from Rajkumar’s parents, the police started a massive search operation. 12 teams were formed to trace the accused, but he continued missing. Finally his body was found on Monday. Police are continuing the investigation into this matter. Post-mortem and other legal procedures will be completed to find out the real cause of death. This heart-wrenching case has caught the attention of people across Telangana. The reason for this is the brutality of the murders and the suicide of the main accused before he could be arrested.
